Landmark Mollies Motel Appointment

Medlock are delighted to announce our appointment to undertake the fit out of the eagerly anticipated Mollies Motel in the heart of central Manchester.

Situated at the former home of Granada Studios on Quay Street, the latest opening will herald Mollies first city centre site and their third in total, with further properties near Bristol and Oxford respectively.

Famed for its budget-luxe interiors the Mollies Motel accommodation will span 128 rooms across five floors with guests able to choose room options ranging from classic doubles and twins, bunk rooms and interconnecting family suites.

On the ground floor the 140 cover Mollies restaurant pays homage to the quintessential retro American diner whilst the Mollies cocktail bar area on the lower ground floor will host live music and entertainment. The space includes a private-hire green room, VIP bar and snug and an outdoor heated terrace.

Elsewhere a co-working space for meetings and events can be found in the large ground floor lobby area and there’s a state of the art gym and sauna facility on the first floor.

As a Manchester headquartered contractor Medlock is proud to have been entrusted by developers Allied London to deliver this amazing reinvention of the old Granada Studios, arguably one of most iconic buildings in our great city.
