Medlock and a Gaucho ride into Liverpool…

When you’re craving a meal that’s just that little bit special, Gaucho is often the name at the top of your list.

Getting its name from the Argentinian cowboys or ‘Gauchos’, the ever-popular restaurant venue offers a taste of Argentina right here in the UK. With seventeen restaurants dotted all over the country, the luxury chain is set to make its first foray onto the streets of Liverpool.

Medlock has been appointed by the high-class brand to deliver the full fit-out and refurbishment of a new luxury restaurant space on Liverpool’s Water Street. Set in the heart of the business district, the Grade II listed space offers all the architectural grandeur associated with this part of the city centre.

Medlock will be converting a space that was previously a banking hall, delivering all the splendour and luxury one comes to expect of the Gaucho brand.

Legend has it that the two tigers mounted above the external doors once attracted Lascar sailors to come and rub the tiger’s teeth for good luck. If we were superstitious, we might even have a go ourselves, but we’d rather rely on our passion and commitment to get the job done.
