Wheelie good bike shop for Wilmslow

Medlock has recently assisted premium cycling retailer Pinarello with the opening of their new store in Wilmslow.

The brand is best known for being the bike of choice for multiple Tour De France winners.

Occupying the former RBS bank unit on Water Street in the town centre, the shop marks a new home for Pinarello’s northern operations having relocated from their Manchester Deansgate base where they had traded from for the last eleven years.

Working in partnership with the in-house Pinarello design team the store layout was carefully curated with dedicated areas allocated for the high-end bike trade area, the bespoke bike sizing service and workshop area for the dedicated store mechanics team.

Our works consisted of installing new partitions to form the trade area and back of house provision along with new floor finishes, decorations and joinery for the service counters. For the bike fitting studio we introduced new glazed partitions to create a separate area from the main shop floor as well as handling all electrical works for the building.
